[lsst-dm-stack-users] Using the DM stack without astrometry

Hello,
  I'm playing with using the DM stack to process ImSim images, and I'd like 
to "turn off" astrometry. For example, if I have a grid of stars, or an 
image containing only galaxies, then I can't use the stack because the 
astrometry fails. I'd basically like to use the stack the same way I use 
SouceExtractor - to get hold of the DM photometry products (coords, 
magnitudes, fwhm, shape, classification_extendedness).
  Is this possible? Is this advisable?
