You could use the git "insteadOf" mechanism if it's all git.  For example, put something like the following in your ~/.gitconfig:

[url "/space/data-qserv/qserv-dist/git-repositories/antlr/"]
        insteadOf = git://git.lsstcorp.org/contrib/eupspkg
