[lsst-dm-stack-users] problem installing sconsUtils on ubuntu 12.04

Ok, I tried disabling ufw and running previous commands (including eups distrib install sconsUtils with the lsst environment partially set up) and I see the same failure patterns, so I somewhat don’t think it’s ufw. I’m really not terribly good with firewalls these days, though.
