[lsst-dm-stack-users] Generating registry.sqlite3

Hi all,

I've tried following the instructions for 'Running on Stripe 82 with extended source photometry turned on' given on the Trac site here: https://dev.lsstcorp.org/trac/wiki/Installing/Summer2013

However, the directory we're told to curl doesn't have its own registry.sqlite3 file. I tried copying the demo directory's registry to see if that would work (since both regions are Stripe 82 data), but to no avail. I suspect this failed because the demo data's astrometry table is pared down to only the relevant region (I don't know if this would affect the functionality of the registry file). Thoughts?

In general, is there a straightforward way to generate registry files for data we're interested in reducing on the pipeline?
