I got as far as the second line of the installation
    su -c "bash lsst-distrib install"
I have no access to su or sudo or similar on my
Government machine.  No exceptions.

So I went down the page to
    ​http://hsca.ipmu.jp:8080/questions
I have no access to HTTP anything at a non-standard
ports on my Government machine.  No exceptions.

So is the suggested path to compile from source with
possible --prefix= or similar at various junctions?
