[lsst-dm-stack-users] Difficulties installing DM on Ubuntu 11

Hi Heather,

I've started an update to the "Known Issues" page for v8.0 
(https://confluence.lsstcorp.org/display/LSWUG/Known+Installation+Issues+for+v8.0). 
I will need to rewind this e-mail thread to be sure the issue and resolution 
are covered properly.

Since this page is for describing bugs and work-arounds with the build system 
(which should disappear with the next minor release), I view them as a 
temporary addendum to the installation instructions--hence the linked page. 
But I did update the "Install Packages" section of the instructions with a 
pointer to the Known Issues in the hope that the installation will go more 
smoothly if the user is aware of these issues in advance.
