Hi Alex,

FWIW, I'm running the sims stuff using my own anaconda, installed in my
home directory.
I don't think I had any major problems, except that I did have some
installation issues relating to libraries/finding the 1.0 version of the
ssl & associated libraries in Yosemite. (I brute-forced my way around that
in the end by symlinking the anaconda library into the expected /usr/lib
location).
